When you leave the classroom in the afternoon, it is important that you continue to speak English with your friends from around the world.

For this reason, and because we want you to make the most of your time in Cambridge, we offer a weekly programme of social, sports and cultural activities – SCAP – free of charge.

Each week you will have a choice of between 6 and 8 activities selected from the following list.

Badminton:
There is volleyball at the local indoor sports centre.

Charcoal Sketching and drawing class
Learn the techniques of drawing and express yourself with charcoal.

Evening Activity
The regular Tuesday "Studio down the pub"
Practise your English conversation by joining a Studio member of staff - Guy, Ruth, Stuart, Layla, Clare or Chris - and your fellow students, for a chat in a typical British pub.

Wednesday

Fitzwilliam Museum Visit:
View the many treasures and art masterpieces in Cambridge's (and one of Britains) most famous museum.

Conversation Club:
Practise your conversation skills with teachers and fellow students in an informal enviroment

Indoor Football:
Join us at the local Sports Centre, where you can test your "footie" skills against up to 15 other students

London Theatre Trip:
You can join a coach trip London to see 'The Phantom of the Opera'. Cost = £39.00

Weekend

Support our local football team at Cambridge City FC. Special discount rate for Studio students for this Saturday's match

This week's trip is a full weekend trip away, visiting bath and Stonehenge. Cost to Studio students is £89.00. See the Travelsights website for details.
