Sir Henry, Bishops Stortford – 9 to 14

What can you expect from Sir Henry?

Ages 9 to 14 | Bishop’s Stortford | Open July 5th – August 2nd 2020

Studio Cambridge’s Sir Henry Summer Camp has been running at Hockerill College every year since 1997. It is always very popular so early booking is advised, especially for early July.

It is an ideal centre for our younger students, aged 9 to 12 years old, or for 13 & 14 year olds who are not yet ready for more independence with older teenagers.

Hockerill College has a secure environment as it is self-contained and has the advantage of having both accommodation and classrooms on the same site. The ratio of staff to students here is high and the maximum class size is 16.

What is the course centre like?

  • Lovely gardens
  • Safe and secure environment

The town of Bishop’s Stortford

Founded more than 1,500 years ago, in Roman times, Bishop’s Stortford is a market town with a traditional English atmosphere. It is small – fewer than 40,000 residents – and enjoys a high standard of living. Its location is ideal; halfway between Cambridge and London. It is also the nearest town to London’s Stansted airport (just 6 kilometres away).
