Accommodation on English Language and Activity Programmes at Studio Cambridge
Where to stay during your course
Accommodation is included in the course fees for all our Language and Activity programmes.
Depending on your choice of Language and Activity programme, accommodation can be in a homestay (local host), in a student residence at the course centre (on campus), or in a student residence separate from the course centre. On our Sir Michael programme it is possible to choose between homestay and residential accommodation, depending on which option you would prefer.
Homestay
Living with a local British host, you will share a bedroom with a student of a different nationality but of the same gender and a similar age. Your meals will be provided by your host, except for weekday lunch which is provided at the course centre.
Friends can request to be in the same homestay, if we receive this information on the enrolment form.
Residential
You will stay in a residential building with other students as well as Studio school staff, who are there to provide additional welfare and supervision. Please see each centre for more information as our residential accommodation varies a lot, depending on the location.
Although friends can request to be in the same residence, we do not accept specific rooming/sharing requests at any of our residences.
Meals
Meals are included in the course fees for all our Language and Activity programmes.
Any special need you may have (for reasons of religion, diet or health) will be taken into account when you enrol, if you remember to state these clearly when applying for your chosen course.
