Rildey Hall is linked to the Cambridge University colleges. Each college is an independent institution, but benefits from membership of the University as a whole. Here students live, socialise and study in peaceful and traditional settings.
The university as a whole dates from the 13th Century. It is one of the oldest universities in the world and one of the largest in the United Kingdom. "Ridley" was built in 1880 with beautiful Victorian Gothic architecture. It is surrounded by other famous university colleges and award winning modern university buildings.
During the summer we take over responsibility for the College for 8 weeks and also take residences at other nearby colleges, including Newnham and Murray Edwards Colleges. All students live in residential accommodation at Ridley Hall, in Newnham College, at Boulton House or at Murray Edwards College.
There is a high ratio of Residential Wardens and administrative staff also living at the centre. It is an ideal environment for older teenagers.
