English Language and Activity Programmes at Studio Cambridge

The Hockerill Anglo-European College is in a quiet residential area of Bishop's Stortford, 10 minutes' walk from the town centre. The school is an international boarding school, for European Union students, set in its own private grounds and lovely gardens.
Studio Cambridge has been teaching at the College every summer for the past 11 years. We take over responsibility for the entire school for the months of July and August.
To allow the highest levels of security and supervision, all students live on-campus at the centre. Homestay accommodation is not available. Most of our teaching and administration staff also live on-campus. There is typically a ratio of one adult to 7 children living at the centre. It is an ideal environment for children of this age.
Students are not allowed off-campus unless on a school-sponsored visit or when accompanied by a member of the Studio staff.

The town of Bishop's Stortford
Bishop's Stortford is an historic market town midway between Cambridge and London. 50 kilometres south of Cambridge, in the county of Hertfordshire, it has one of the highest standards of living in the United Kingdom. It also has a reputation as an attractive and trouble-free place to live. Its location close to Cambridge,and only 60 kilometres from London, makes it ideal for excursions and visits.
It is a perfect place for children aged 10 - 15 years. It is safe, and very English in character. The programme attracts children from many different countries each summer and has a delightful international atmosphere. Places are limited and early booking is, therefore, advised.
