English Language and Activity Programmes at Studio Cambridge
Sir Laurence course centre
Lucy Cavendish is one of the 31 Cambridge University colleges. Each college is an independent institution, but benefits from membership of the University as a whole. Here students live, socialise and study in peaceful and traditional settings. "Lucy" has a mixture of modern architecture and buildings dating back to the 19th century. It was established 42 years ago and is surrounded by other famous university colleges.
The university as a whole dates from the 13th Century. It is one of the oldest universities in the world and one of the largest in the United Kingdom.
During the summer Studio Cambridge takes over responsibility for the College for 6 weeks. All students live on-campus at the centre or at a University residence nearby. Homestay accommodation is not available.
Most of our teaching and administration staff also live on-campus and there is typically a ratio of 1 adult to 10 students living at the centre. It is an ideal environment for teenagers.
