Accommodation
Homestay
is living with friendly local hosts in their own home. This
is a very effective way of increasing your confidence in using
English on a day-to-day basis.
Hosts understand how difficult it can be to express yourself
in a foreign language. They are carefully selected to meet our
strict requirements and many have several years' experience
of looking after Studio Young Learners.
You
share a twin room with a student of the same sex and a similar
age, but from a different country.
Meals
All meals apart from weekday lunches are provided by your host,
including packed lunches on excursion days. Lunches on class
days are provided at the St George course centre, at Studio school.
Any
special need you may have (for reasons of religion, diet or
health) are taken into account when you are placed with your
host. Please remember to state these clearly when applying
for your chosen course.
See family
accommodation in our 'services' section, for details of
'You and your host' and 'How we choose our hosts'.
