Almost
everything on the St George course is included
in the fees. However, there may be a few additional costs for
which you should plan.
Spending
Money
We recommend that you bring around £70 (100
EUR) per week spending money. This can be used for emergencies,
buying souvenirs, and extra activities such as going to the
cinema with friends.
Transport
Your homestay accommodation will be as close to the school as
possible, but if you
do need transport to get to school or just wish to get around
Cambridge, there is a choice available:

Bicycles
This
is the favourite and most traditional way for getting
around Cambridge, which has many cycle lanes to separate
bikes from car traffic. We recommend that you only hire
bicycles (approximately £15 per week) if you are a competent
cyclist and confident about cycling on English roads.
If
requested, we can help you to hire a bicycle during the
first week of your stay. We will also show you how to
cycle in safety on English roads.

Buses
An
alternative to the bike is for you to buy a city bus pass (approximately
£11.00 per week) which is called a 'megarider'. You can
buy this on the bus by asking the driver. Studio staff will
also make sure that you know which bus you will need to take
to get you to and from the course centre.
Extra
cost activities
The St George activity programme is included
in your course fees and you don't have to pay for anything
extra. However, on occasions students ask us to arrange different
activities (such as golf, horse riding or Theatre) at extra cost.
Not
arriving or leaving on a Sunday?
Airport
transfers from the main London airports (Heathrow, Stansted & Gatwick) are included in your fees as long as you arrive and depart on a Sunday. Arrival or departure on any day other
than a Sunday will mean you will have to pay extra costs for
the transfer. Please contact

Not
arriving at or leaving from one of London's main airports?
If you are not flying into, or leaving from, London Heathrow,
London Stansted or London Gatwick, an additional charge will
