Bishop's Stortford is a traditional English market town, with a population of around 30,000 and very low crime levels. It is less than 30 minutes' drive south of Cambridge and is located mid-way between Cambridge and London.

It is only 10km from Stansted International Airport and has easy access to all other London Airports.

It is also a major train station on the line between Cambridge and London, Liverpool Street Station.
