The St. Helen course takes place in Hockerill Anglo-European
College (click here
for more information). Outside of the summer period, it is a special
state school for European Union students. Hockerill College has
a secure environment. It is self-contained and this gives the
advantage of having both accommodation and classrooms on the same
site.
The
St. Helen centre plays host to approximately 130 - 210 students
each week and it maintains a personal, caring and friendly atmosphere.
It is now in its 9th year and continues to be very popular with
Studio students.
The
college is an old, attractive, "typically-English"
boarding school with clean, modern facilities.
It is located in a quiet, residential area, only
10 minutes' walk from Bishop’s Stortford town centre. Large,
well-kept gardens surround the site and there is a picturesque
public park nearby.
All
meals are eaten in the large on-site cafeteria.
