Who will be teaching you?
We have a team of experienced teachers with varying styles. Let us introduce you to some of them:
Danielle Di Lorenzo – BA, CELTA
Danielle came to Studio after a career in law and has been teaching here since 2011, In the summer, she is responsible for our Sir Christopher summer camp.
Amanda Longhurst – MA, CELTA
Amanda started teaching at Studio in 2012. Besides teaching English, her passion is for art.
Phil Unwin – BA, CELTA
After a career in the Civil Service, Phil changed track to teaching English and has been at Studio since 2009.
Melanie Blake – BA, CELTA
After working for Amazon, Melanie changed career and did her teacher training here at Studio in 2019, passing with flying colours. She has been teaching here ever since.
Alex De Lusignan – MA, CELTA
Alex had a long career in investments, banking and sales before training as an English teacher. He joined Studio in 2019. Besides English, his interests are creative writing and forensic linguistics.
Mandi Naini – PhD, TEFL
After a long career in academic research and education, Mandi joined Studio Cambridge as a teacher in 2019.
Robert Crampton – PhD, CELTA
Rob had a career in financial trading before he went into academia. He researched and taught Medieval Irish and Anglo Saxon at Cambridge University. He joined Studio as an English teacher in 2019.
Gail Steele – MA, CELTA
Gail has many years of teaching experience both in the UK and abroad. She joined Studio in 2022.
