Sir Laurence, Cambridge University – 12 to 16

What can you expect from Sir Laurence?

Ages 12 to 16  | Cambridge | Open June 28th – August 9th 2020

Our Sir Laurence camp has been running since 2009, giving children and teenagers an opportunity to learn more about Cambridge University life.

The programme is intensive, with 28 lessons (21 hours) of English per week. The mixture of nationalities in classes is usually excellent and the maximum class size is 16.

The camp is located at Lucy Cavendish, a Cambridge University college, with on-campus classrooms, facilities and residential accommodation. This is an ideal centre for our 12-16 year old students who are looking for a small campus course, in the centre of Cambridge, with a taste of university life and a very personal atmosphere. Only individuals or small groups of friends are allowed at this camp so it is ideal for students travelling by themselves or with a friend.

The programme also has a high standard of accommodation and a high staff to student ratio.

The City of Cambridge

Cambridge is one of the most famous, and most instantly recognised, city names in the world. It has been a centre of learning for 800 years and is the international symbol of academic excellence.

But it is also fun! With 20,000 university students, virtually the only “business” of Cambridge is education and, despite its age, the whole city is designed for young people.

It is the ideal place for the international English language student.
