How do we keep you safe?

At all of our camps, we have high levels of staff-to-student supervision. To ensure proper supervision is maintained students must attend all lessons, activities, meals and excursions, unless they are unwell. However, there are times at most camps when students are allowed unsupervised free time.

Sir William students:

  • Will have some free time in the afternoon and must be back by 17:30
  • Students may not go off campus in the evenings without Studio staff and must be in their residence by 22:00 at the latest
  • Are allowed some periods of unsupervised free time during excursions
  • Will start preparing for bedtime by 22:00

You are only allowed to leave the campus unsupervised between 15:30 and 17:30 on specified afternoons. Visits to Richmond town centre are permitted at this time. Unsupervised travel to central London is not permitted. During excursions you may have up to 2 hours of free time unsupervised.

Studio staff live in the residence, providing 24-hour care. The staff-to-student ratio is high and staff are never far away if you have any questions or need help.

Evenings:

Each evening students on the Sir William programme will have activities organised for them by our Studio staff. Students may not go off campus in the evenings without Studio staff and must be in their residence by 23:00 at the latest. Students who fail to follow this rule will be spoken to by the Studio staff. This is an important rule for us and failing to comply is considered serious misconduct and action will be taken.
