We believe excursions are great way to introduce our young learners to the large diversity within British culture and food, also allowing them to learn more about our rich history. Most of all, it’s an experience that allows students to make lifelong friends with whom they can experience fun moments with while learning independence in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
“I loved the excursions! We got to see so many beautifal places and meet new people”.
The London Excursion is one of our most popular trips here at Studio Cambridge as it is the capital city of the UK. Our students long to see iconic buildings such as Big Ben, The London Eye, Buckingham Palace and St Pauls Cathedral.
“London was amazing! I come from a small town in Spain so visiting this huge city was great”
Another of our highly popular excursions here at Studio Cambridge is our trip to the city of Winsor where Prince Harry and Megan Markle were most recently married in May. Our students love Windsor for its old historical buildings. There is an abundance of souvenir shops for buying gifts for family and friends back home, as well as visiting the royal institutions. To top it all off they can see the world-famous Winsor castle that is over one thousand years old and is open for the public to enter. Windsor Castle is situated right in the town centre, meaning shops, attractions and restaurants are in walking distance. There might even be a chance of a royal sighting!
“It really is a beautiful magical building, I loved visiting this city”
Brighton is another one of our students’ favourite excursions as it’s one of the UK’s most vibrant and creative cities. It's an idyllic coastal city with its own quirky charm and beauty due to the fact that it hosts arts exhibitions and festivals throughout the year. Another exciting attraction is the British airways i360 which is a high spinning building with a 360-degree beautiful view of the whole city. A stunning pavilion, where you can walk along to look at the old historical buildings facing the ocean with a Ferris Wheel to enjoy.
Each of our cultural excursions are a little different, with new options each year for those returning students who are ready to see something new and exciting in the UK.
We look forward to hearing from you!
