Intensive English Courses

Our English Language courses offer 15 or 21 hours of tuition each week, Monday to Friday. Classes take place at our main school on Station Road or at our summer centre of Hills Road Sixth Form College.

Our general and intensive courses, EFL 20 and EFL 28, provide start dates every Monday throughout the year, with course lengths from 2 to 50 weeks. We teach on all public holidays, except during Christmas and new year, so you will never have to miss your classes.

Classes are at all levels from beginner (level 1) to advanced (level 6). You will be tested on your first day by an experienced and qualified teacher and placed in a class at the level which is right of you. EFL 20 is suitable for students aged 18 and above and EFL 28 is suitable for students aged 16 and above.

Our intensive exam preparation courses for IELTS, FCE and CAE run on specific dates throughout the year and we also have an IELTS afternoon class running every week as part of our EFL 28 course.

Students come to Studio Cambridge from 80 countries and speak dozens of languages. It is very important that you continue speaking English with your friends and classmates after your lessons are finished for the day, therefore we include at least one social activity per weekday (free of charge) and we arrange excursions to other places of interest throughout Britain (at additional cost).

We are confident of providing you with the highest academic standard, a successful language course and an enjoyable stay in England.
