The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work in an English-speaking country. It uses a nine-band scale to clearly identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9). At Studio Cambridge we offer the IELTS Academic Test, which is designed for students looking to apply for a higher education course taught in English or to work in a professional setting which uses English as the main language of communication.
The test is divided into four parts: Listening, Academic Reading, Academic Writing, and Speaking. Total test time is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
If you would like to book an IELTS exam during your study with us, we recommend studying on our IELTS-28 course in preparation.
