Airport transfers for Adult course students
If you would like an airport transfer when you arrive in the UK we are happy to arrange this for you. We can provide transfers from any airport in the UK.
If you are using Studio accommodation, you should plan to arrive the Sunday before your course begins and depart the Saturday after your course finishes. Please note that this is different to junior camp programmes, where the arrival and departure day is Sunday.

What we need from you
You should send us your flight details as soon as you can, but we should receive them no later than 2 weeks before the day of your arrival. It is essential that we receive the following information from you:
- Your name, mobile telephone number and e-mail address
- Course name
- Dates of arrival and departure
- Name of airport
- Airport terminal number
- Flight numbers for arrival and departure
- Arrival time in the UK.
- Departure time from the UK
- The names of any other students you are travelling with
Your arrival in the UK
When you arrive in the UK on a Sunday, you will be met at the airport by our transfers team and taken by taxi or coach to your accommodation, where you will be met by your host or a residential warden.
Your departure
You should plan to depart on the Saturday after your course ends. We will aim to get you to the airport at least three hours before your flight is due to depart. You will receive confirmation of your pick-up time during your final week at school.
Parental consent travel form
Students under the age of 18 travelling without their parent or legal guardian must carry a signed ‘Parental Consent Travel form’ supplied by Studio Cambridge. This document confirms that the parent gives permission for their child to travel to the UK and study at Studio Cambridge. The completed form must be available on arrival in the UK to show to the Immigration officer.
At the airport
Difficulty finding the Studio Representative?
Some of the London airports are quite big and it is not always easy to see who is meeting you. If, after looking carefully, you can’t find the person meeting you in the ARRIVALS HALL, we will help you to find each other if you call our emergency phone.
When you call please tell us your name, which airport you have arrived at and where you are in the airport and we will ask the Studio Representative/driver to find you.
You should ask the person meeting you to tell you your Studio student reference number so that you are met by the correct person. If you have any doubts you should call the emergency telephone to check.
Waiting time?
Once you meet our Studio Representative it is possible that there will be a short wait of up to one hour while other students are also met. Once everyone is present you can go together to the taxi or coach.
Travelling from the airport?
Journey time depends on the airport locations and the time of travel, but there is usually no time for toilet-stops, so please make sure you are comfortable for your journey before you leave the airport.
Delayed flight?
There is no need to worry if a flight is delayed because our team will be monitoring the flights and their expected arrival times. Please be assured that a Studio Representative will be waiting for you.
Lost baggage?
If you cannot find your baggage go to the Lost Baggage desk in the Baggage Hall. Do not leave the baggage hall until you have spoken to someone at the desk because you will not be permitted to return to the Baggage Hall. You can call a member of the Studio Cambridge team and they will help you.
